joining me is aaron gibbs, michael, eric from russell investments and ryan dietrich from schaeffer's. let's talk earnings, what do you expect from this quarter and is it already priced into the market? >> i think somewhat it's priced into the market but we'll also be looking at top line revenue growth. we're looking at 3 % for the start of the earning season. there's always a bit of a hedge with analysts who expect something like 5% to 6% by the end of the quarter. the important thing is we're expecting 4% refer new growth for the third quarter coming off a negative -- >> what was revenue growth? that's a big deal. >> exactly. >> i think that's what people will be looking at as we go through q3. >> would you put money in this market? >> absolutely. we're buying the dips in terms of the sean. we viewed the shutdown as probably more or less a nonevent. the biggest risk was debt ceiling and potential credit default. seems like washington is dedicateded on republican side and democratic side to take default off the table. and i think that's what the market's reacting to. >> so, if we don'
