michael finney, 7 on your side. >>> we have breaking news to tell you about right now. officers are on the scene of an accident involving a pedestrian and a vta train. lilian kim is live at the scene. lilian, tell us where you actually are. >> this happened just before 11:00 p.m. we are getting some basic information. we have been told that this valley transit authority light rail train hit a transient woman at the intersection here on north capital avenue. that woman was taken to the hospital and her condition is not know at this time. an officer told me she was breathing when she was being taken away and her injuries are minor. in the meantime they closed this intersection to traffic so they could investigate the accident scene. if the woman's injuries are not life-threatening, they could open up the intersection relatively soon. if they learn it was a fatal accident they could be here through the early morning hours to ensure a thorough investigation is conducted. as to what lead to the collision we are still trying to find out. lilian kim, abc7 news. >> thank you li
