michael finney is here with the headlines. what's going on?got some pretty interesting stuff today. a new bill in the california state senate would prohibit pit hidden or what we call junk fees. the bill would prohibit the act of deceptively advertising low prices. then tacking on required fees either in the fine print or towards the end of the transaction. this is called senate bill 478. it's coauthored by bay area state senators bill dodd and nancy skinner and supported by california attorney general rob bonta. and just about everybody on earth. it is currently pending before the senate appropriations committee. general motors is recalling nearly 1 million vehicles due to an issue with airbag inflators. the airbags run the risk of exploding during deployment, possibly causing injury or even death. the recall affects just suvs, including the 2014 through 17 buick enclave, chevy traverse and gmc acadia. models with airbag inflators that were made by automotive. google is updating its inactive account policy starting in december. accounts that
