. >> reporter: tonight, eddie parker and michael jenkins say justice can be served now that the six white mississippi law enforcement officers who beat them for nearly two hours have entered guilty pleas. >> finally gave up. i knew how it was to give up. it wasn't a surprise. survive. it was hoping i'll make it to the end. >> reporter: prosecutors in mississippi say the officers tortured, used racial slurs and sexually assaulted the two black men inside a braxton home last january. court documents reveal reveal the officers who called themselves the goon squad broke down the door, beat, tased and threatened to rape parker and jenkins while calling them the "n" word and monkeys as they accused the men of sleeping with white women. >> they came to do what they wanted to do which was tortue us. they came to do what they did. >> reporter: the five rankin county officers were joined by richland police officer joshua hartfield. the federal complaint says one officer put a gun in jenkins' mouth, pulled the trigger and nearly killed him. >> what did i do? are these, you know, really officers? you

on january 24th, they ended eddie parker and michael jenkin's home. >> handcuffing the victims behind and intimidate the victims and holding them down and pouring cooking oil, milk, alcohol, and chocolate syrup on her faces and into their mouths. forcing them to painfully and involuntarily ingest those liquids. striking one of the victims with objects including a metal sword, a piece of wood, and a wooden kitchen implement. kicking one of the victims in the ribs, tasing the victims dozens times with department-issued tasers an stealing personal belong belongings from the house. >> jenkin was shot in the mouth and exiting out of his neck. for months there was doubt about the official account of what took place. the mississippi department of public safety releasing a statement the day after the incident saying only that the mississippi bureau of investigations is investigating an officer-involved shooting. in july i spoke to parker, jenkins and jenkins' mother. >> they started beating many he here. and tasing me, as you could see from the blood spots now. my blood spots there. >> report

san francisco da brooke jenkins has declined to charge the guard who killed her, but the guard, michael earl, wayne, anthony has since left the industry. he's also been fined $1,500 by the state's bureau of security and investigative services, not for killing brown, but for carrying a concealed weapon without a permit. and for not wearing a required badge. identifying him as a guard. vera says it was up to the guard to follow the regulations. but he says the state needs to allow guards to use less lethal weapons other than tasers, which require you to be close to the suspect. a secondary protocol to go to that would be most effective before they reach for their weapon in the home depot incident, authorities say the guard opened fire after the suspect grabbed the guard's own baton and hit him with it. as far as our rules of engagement are, officer acted appropriately, he says the two incidents are proof that criminals are brazen enough to steal, even in the presence of guards. it's open season for anyone to walk in and believe that they have the right to take something. now, he tells me
