kimmel. >> michael is being deployed soon overseas, which leaves his fiance and his daughter behind, whichis fiance could be sent back to mexico while he's overseas. so do you think a man who is serving this country, who is an active member of the military, do you think that he should be treated like this? >> first off, the little girl cannot be deported. i think she should be deported. she needs to go back to her own country and work on fixing her own country. >> oh, my god. i want to get you in here, you too use comedy as part of your mission, you guys use comedy to put forth these serious issues. it illustrated something that to a lot of people was shocking, the response of that guy to the daca recipient. can comedy do more than just make us laugh at this absurdity? >> for me, what's really important is, with the comedy and the messaging, to be able to say to somebody here is a call to action you can do. so many people hear the message. i don't want to be some kind of anger fluffer that gets people all riled up and lived them going, what do i do now? for me i feel like if you're going t

michael cohen might take to combat that. will the president take any steps, we just don't know. that video of stormy daniels interview she did with jimmy kimmele asked her if not confirming that she signed a nondisclosure agreement, and she said very coyly, you're very smart, jimmy. i will say this about michael cohen. i know you've dealt with him, peter. he's one of the most loyal people there is or has been, to donald trump. if you look at loyal in the donald trump dictionary, you will see michael cohen's face next to that word. he's told me he would take a bullet for donald trump. so i'm not entirely sure if donald trump has anything to do with this directly, whether or not he knew of a payment but it's important to note that michael cohen doesn't say he wasn't reimbursed by someone else. >> the statement that he wrote was well-crafted in terms of its legalities. he said i used my personal funds to facilitate a payment, not that i used my own money. he says, neither the trump organization nor the trump campaign was a party to the transaction. he doesn't say donald trump was. he doesn't say that president trump himself did. >> he's a lawyer

back and i think kimmel will see that in his ratings eventually and as we all know, in tv that's what counts. >> jon: meanwhile criticism of the media from a member of the media, michaelmself a liberal, wrote this in his latest column. he says thanks to the battle over the memo, that's the nunes memo, we also know with 100% certainty that the mainstream media is part of the swamp. the efforts by "the new york times" and the "washington post" among others to keep the memo from ever seeing sunshine were appalling before it saw the memo the times editorial page called it proof of the republican plot against the f.b.i. a post columnist warned president trump he would be making an historic mistake in releasing it. judy, you did say before this memo came out that you were concerned about it releasing sources and methods. did it do that? >> i don't think that it did. you know, jon, it is very hard to know that. what we do know is that the f.b.i. said that the memo wasn't accurate. you could expect them to say that since it's critical of the f.b.i. but even trey gowdy said it did not show what donald trump said it showed, which is vindication of him. look, i think we have got
