police say 23-year-old michael stewart tried to break into a home on west b street tuesday morning. the home's security system alerted the owner through an app on her cell phone. she saw what was happening... and called 9-1-1 called her father. police say when her father went to the home... he encountered the burglar in the backyard. he was afraid of someing starwas holding... and opened fire. stewart survived... but police say he alst made a ?deadly mistake: stewart was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. he was st arrested on ?another burglary charge three weeks ago. and the man who the polls are closed this morning... and the results are in... from florida's primary elections. and no ?huge surprises either. most of the frontrunners... dominated. and that includes the state's biggest race... for the u-s senate. on the republican side... incumbent marco rubio easily beat businessman "carlos beruff" . and on the democratic side, patrick murphy crushed his competition as well. rubio and murphy wl now face off in november. other highlights from last night's results... david j
