you know, michael, what i keep thinking about is, there was a lot of dissent in republican circles, in georgia, among political operatives, about walker. they didn't want him to run. they wanted donald trump to butt out. they said please don't endorse this guy. but the point is, once trump makes his selection, the base follows, and the entire establishment gets in line and it does not matter. they will do whatever it takes to push him across the finish line. >> yeah, that's the game plan as it has evolved since 2016. understand what foxes roles here. fox is not talking to the three of us at because they don't care about us. they are talking to that base, they are driving that base because their internal numbers are showing them a very different campaign then they would like to see. it is something mitch mcconnell recognized a long time ago, which is why he was very concerned about the kind of candidates that were put forward in the senate, because they knew there was an opportunity there to take the senate, particularly when you have the race coming off the heels of the 20 election cycle in georgia, that presented a real opportunity.

also with us, michael larosa, who served as press secretary to first lady doctor joe biden. alencia, i just want to go back to the herschel walkerfact that you have republican leaders like risk scott, lindsey graham backing him despite these accusations. i want to use the word hypocrisy, but i feel like we have an occasion to uses so frequently that it has almost lost all meaning. what is the big picture about the gop reproductive rights and what it is that they are actually after? >> they are letting us know what this is all about, it's literally about power. we have known that there are a lot of republicans that not only vote for lost to our antiabortion put right these laws against abortion. yes, they have paid for abortions in the people and our lives. there's nothing wrong with supporting women that have had abortions, but the issue is when you have decided that no one else can make that personal decision. i think voters are actually going to see and pay attention to the fact that why does it have to be as forces them. why am i not able to make personal medication for myself, and you are able for your -- one other thing tha

michael, some republicans are out there tonight saying that fetterman is unfit, he should withdraw. but do they not have a race in the state of georgia, someone running for the very position herschel walker who's facing family scandals, lies about his past jobs, and in his last debate, pulled out a prop batch and somehow believes he has some sort of adjunct role with the local police force? >> clearly mister walker is the -- delusional. but that's just a sideshow. when we talk about the pennsylvania -- john fetterman tried his best under difficult circumstances -- mister ross, as a doctor, i think literally violated the hippocratic oath. he would never had advised any patient of his, i think, i hope, would have never advised any patient of him -- in the aftermath of a stroke to even be on a debate stage. john fetterman was valiant in his efforts. he tried his best to answer the questions that were asked. mr. oz did not. and i want to give that credit to john fetterman for trying to do his best under a certain set of circumstances that were not favorable for him, but he gave a valiant effort. i admire what john fetterman trying to do tonight. and mr. oz should be ashamed of himself for th
