i'm michelle griego. >> i'm frank malico. wild fires still burning. there are 9 separate blazes. more than 125,000 people have been evacuatedful 15 square miles have been scorched. >> this week's wild fires here have already damaged at least homes, 2 businesses and an 18 unit condo complex all the temperatures are now beginning to cool down, firefighters are still struck -- still struggling to contain the blaze. they're helping firefighters get on some of the wild fires in san diego county but several hot spots continue to flair-up. this fire was 10% contained as far as lunchtime. dozens have no homes to return. >> it's absolutely heartbreaking, you know, we just sign on in this profession to protect life or property. and so any time homeless are destroyed or we use a life that hits all of us hard. >> arrival more fire fie righters today crews who have been battling crews are finally getting rest. >> some of these guys have been out here for 36 hours straight. they've been going from fire to fire to fire. >> helicopters continue to do the heavy lifting for the fire dumping water

. >> i'm michelle griego. >>> police are just confirming a male and female died inside that home. kpix 5's kiet do is on the scene with new leads in the investigation. >> reporter: good afternoon, crews are here digging through the rubble to figure out what caused this fire. the remains of the two victims were removed from the scene. when the firefighters arrived the fire was 800 degrees, they could feel the heat from across the street. it's not clear if they were trying to escape but the couple's remains were found in the hallway outside the bedroom. >> i hoped nobody was hurt. >> reporter: cell phone footage taken before firefighters arrived shows flames shooting 20 to 30 feet into the air. by the time crews got there, it was too hot to look for survivors. two people were still believed to have been inside. >> right when i started within five minutes that thing was engulfed. >> they didn't make it out. the older woman walked slowly with a cane. the remains were found together by the bedroom. >> we don't have their identities at this time. but we suspect it could be the parents.
