i'm michelle miller. the inquiry into the secret service prostitution scandal now includes another overseas presidential trip. besides investigating allegations of unprofessional behavior in colombia, they are looking into whether agents hired prostitutes to a trip to el salvador last year. susan mcginnis is in washington with more. good morning. >> reporter: good morning. lawmakers here on capitol hill have been told the incident in colombia appears to be isolated. well, now new allegations that secret service agents hired prostitutes in san salvador before another presidential visit. the secret service scandal appears to be widening. sources tell cbs affiliate kiro tv that secret service agents hired prostitutes at this el salvador strip club just days before president obama and his family visited the country in march 2011. members of the president's advance team were apparently accompanied by this local contractor, who wants to keep his identity secret. he claims agents paid strippers to return to thei

i'm michelle miller. it's being called an embarrassing failure. north korea defied the world and launched a rocket but about a minute after takeoff it broke into pieces. hours later north korea admitted the satellite failed to enter orbit. condemnation has been swift. the u.s. says it is suspending plans to give food to north korea and the u.n. security council has scheduled a meeting for later today. the rocket was supposed to have blasted off to the south, a trajectory not to threaten the u.s. or any other nation. it was to have splashed harmlessly into the sea but officials say it broke apart about 90 seconds after lift-off. the white house issued a statement saying north korea's provocative action threatened regional security, violates international law and contra convenients its own recent commitment. the u.s. remains vigilant in the face of north korean provocation and is fully committed to the security of our allies in the region. pyongyang says the rocket contained only annette-monitoring satellite but secretary clinton says it's the poten
