new at 5:00, nbc bay area's michelle roberts joins us from morgan hill. michelle. >> reporter: the victim's wife says their neighbor, mark weber, didn't like their dog barking all of the time, and she believes that's what started this argument. today here at the police department, investigators are urging weber to surrender. >> he is possibly armed and dangerous. >> reporter: morgan hill police say 47-year-old mark weber is wanted for assault with a deadly weapon after attacking his neighbor with a baseball bat. >> on friday afternoon, police say they received two calls, one from a neighbor who overheard a fight outside and another from mark weber's son. >> he just got a call from his dad saying he had been in an altercation with his neighbor, assaulted him and possibly killed him. and now possibly going to hurt himself. >> reporter: at the scene, officers found the victim severely beaten inside his home where investigators believe the attack took place. today the victim's wife didn't want to speak on camera, but tells me her husband is being treated for b

nbc bay area's michelle roberts has more. we understand this is the latest in a rash of car burglaries in that location. >> reporter: that's right. last night it happened in a well lit parking lot on a busy street. i spoke to the manager at applebee's. she said her car has been burglarized and in the last few weeks she knows about five people who vd had car break-ins here and she's encouraging all customers to bring their valuables inside. >> they broke the car windows and stole. >> $6,000 and a laptop was inside those bags. he shared these pictures of broken car windows after the burglary last night. he and his family had just landed in san jose which is why they had all their luggage inside their rental car. they stopped at applebee's at 280. >> i'm so sad because i work a lot for this money. this is difficult for me. it's crazy. >> this is the surveillance video taken from a camera next door. in the top right corner you can see two men approach the car and one lean into the side window while the other walks off with a bag.

i'm michelle roberts. nbc bay area news. >>> well, frightening moments on i-5 when a grey hound bus was hit by a semitruck injuring three people. this was the scene in kettleman city. a semitruck rear ended the grey hound. it was traveling to san francisco from l.a. two people on the bus were hurt including a 6-year-old girl. deputies say both of those people are expected to be okay. and the cause of the crash is still under investigation. >>> a quick thinking uber driver help hadded a save a teen age g from a suspected sex traffic ring. he picked up a 16-year-old girl and two women in sacramento and he noticed the teen age girl was wearing skimpy girls and sounded like the women were coaching the girl on how to ask for money from the men she was meeting. as soon as he dropped off the trio, he called police. >> i get enough distance where they're not going to see me and i make the phone call. i'm not going to assist, i'm not going to stay silent. >>> apparently taco craveings spark often in san francisco.

reporting live in castor valley, i'm michelle roberts, nbc bay area news. >> a live look in san rafael. the big concern is flooding, that big storm is heading our way later this week. and castor valley, you're already starting to see some raindrops. >> it really is out ahead of that large storm system. i want to show you how much of california is currently under a flood watch and/or a flood warning, from northern california all the way down to the central valley. there's a flood watch for most of the region. specifically for the bay area. the biggest highlight to zone in on is the santa cruz mountains. we could see two to three inches of wet weather, may give us a quick onset of flooding, possibly producing some mud and also some debris. the santa cruz mountains, potentially the source of some flash flooding on thursday. as you get a look right now at the doppler radar. we do expect things to pick up once we hit the early afternoon hours as that storm arrives on thursday's forecast. i'll have the full forecast live in about 15 minutes. agents are leaving oakland...however -- their sear
