today we're learning this is the second time michelle zenchuk was in an accident on this corner, theime she walked away. this time she did not. two mangled cars, one on top of the other show the sheer force of the crash that took the lives of 22-year-old christopher platt, 49-year-old michelle zenchuk and an eight-year-old family friend melissa headley. >> the three-year-old was conscious and able to communicate with us. the eight-year-old was not. >> reporter: the chief confirms the eight-year-old who was sitting in there rear left seat of the silver camry passed away at cooper hospital. the driver's side of the car took the brunt of the force. when witnesses say the black honda civic driven by platt was speeding and swerved around another car it was passing and lost control. >> i saw the car coming and it was just hydroplaning and it just hit directly into her and the last thing i seen her do was lean over hold her hands out and that was it. >> reporter: glen who lives on this corner is friends with zenchuk. he was also here 13 years ago when she was the victim of another accident
