let's get a look at our microclimates now. it's 63 degrees in the east bay and san francisco, 63 degrees as well with highs today reaching in the low 70s there. low 80s in the north bay and 80s in the try vi-valley. 76 degrees. oakland, mid-70s. there's a lot going on there today from the warriors game to the a's game and a lot of sunshine to go along with that with warmer air. by 7:00, it will be 65 degrees, just perfect with mostly clear skies tonight. a warmer trend is under way. we have this area of low pressure which brought us the mist and clouds on early sunday morning. we replace that with high pressure and give us clear skies and warming temperatures and the flow around the high pressure is always clockwise. it will fight back the onshore flow and inland temperatures are in the middle 80s to the 90s. this area of low pressure moves in and gives us spotty shower for the north bay on friday. it looks like we will have cooler temperatures and that carries into the weekend. this is how it shapes up. in the south bay, 73 d

a look at all of the microclimates today. los gatos, up to 71 degrees. palo alto, 59 degrees and presidio, 59 degrees. it brings in clouds and mist and drizzle tomorrow morning. in the meantime, it's looking mostly sunny and then we start to see, once again, clouds moving in and a look at tomorrow morning's forecast, it doesn't show widespread rain. just a couple of sprinkles. this should not ruin your outdoor plans. we'll get clearing throughout the day but i think most of the clearing will be on sunday. slightly warmer temperatures in a few spots like the north bay. up to 72 degrees on sunday. san francisco stays in the 60s and peninsula will be up to the upper 60s. east bay, tri-valley, south bay, very nice and average temperatures. we talked about the beta breakers on sunday. we started out with fog and drizzle. it will be in the mid-50s. maybe put on a little more clothing and of course once you get running you may feel better. at noontime, as you start to celebrate, it will be 58 degrees and the afternoon looking at temperatures around 60 degrees.

now turning to our own microclimate forecast. the heat is really cranking up. it did all day. enjoy it while it lasts though. chief meteorologist jeff ranieri is tracking another change in the weather pattern for us. >> dramatically cold temperatures within the next three days, raj and investigation. right now that's about an area of high pressure allowing temperatures in california to rise and we've had that dry offshore wind decreasing humidity and increasing the fire danger throughout the state as well. in terms of our highs today it was warm again everywhere. pleasanton one of the warmest at 92 degrees and oakland 88 and san francisco 82 degrease. a lot of our beaches in the 70. right now we're still holding on to most of the warmth across al media county and brentwood with a very hot 96 degrees and 87 in livermore and lafayette still holding on to 92 degrees. colder and windier and possibly a rain chance over the next four-day period. tracking that and that's in 15 minutes. >> jeff, we'll see you then. we'll track the hot temperatures yourself and all you need is the nbc

right now rob has that microclimate forecast. a few raindrops. >> we did and temperatures well below where they should be for this time of year. you can see the temperatures here hour by hour, san francisco and san jose, san jose's average is 76 and throughout the day low 60s, passing showers at times. and san francisco average high is 64. so at least san francisco running closer to average right now we've got clearing skies around the bay area but the winds coming in off the ocean keeping temperatures cool, upper 50s and low 60s. wind speeds are starting to come down a bit. of course last 24 hours we've seen wind gusts above 45 miles per hour around the hills of the east bay and the coast we're going to look at cool and breezy conditions through the weekend. but wind speeds not as strong as yesterday. it's the scattered showers starting to shut down. a few more out in napa and lake county. those two starting to move to the east. you can see on the regional view, a lot of snow in the sierra, freezing levels unusually low. about 5
