forecasters warn this could be the strongest storm to hit the mid atlantic coast in more than 60 years. jeff ranieri is tracking it for us. what are you seeing today? >> the storm is growing in overall size and strength. 140 miles per hour is the current observation. and look at the infrared satellite imagery. all the yellow and red are the towering clouds helping pull in the warm air. current path of this right now continues to move it right towards the atlantic seaboard. by thursday 11:00 a.m., it's just offshore as a category four. moving inland by friday. from myrtle beach to morehead city. potential landfall sometime late friday night or actually friday morning for that landfall. and then continuing into saturday. so we are still looking at a very powerful storm system. overall, five to 15 inches of rain. that will produce flooding, isolated amounts of 20-plus inches. a storm surge of five to ten feet. i'll talk also about a storm hitting hawaii and what that could mean in about 15 minutes. >>> a jury in san mateo county found a man guilty of child molestation. investigators belie
