our severe weather threat today is mainly in the mid atlantic. you can see level three out of five from areas of around del marva toward areas of southeast virginia. this entire frontal system has been a pain. remember, we had quite a few tornadoes just the other day. a good 15 of them and that goes on top of the 23, 24 we had on thursday and the 64 we had eight days before that. again, definitely we're watching the flood watch that's in effect. the rivers will rise. the large one, cumberland, but most of the area streams and creeks are starting to fall off. it will take days to clean up. even structural damages as far as roads. some of this cleanup and construction could last for weeks. >> all right, tom sater, thank you so much. we'll check back with you. >>> meanwhile, members of congress are in atlanta visiting the scenes of the shooting rampage at three asian spas. eight people were killed including six asian women. member of the pacific asian-american caucus will retrace the steps of the killer to show it was an anti-asian hate cream. asian

this time of year, but the jet stream's on the move to the north of us, drawing our air from the mid—atlantic 20s for england and wales, high teens for eastern parts of scotland. and then, the second half of the week, the jet stream changes direction again, coming in from the north, opening the door to arctic air across the country, and by the time easter weekend starts, temperatures in single figures and, dare i say it, some could see little bit of snow. winds at the moment coming in from the south—west, and for sunday, quite blowy in places, a touch of gale—force winds here and there. rain at times for western scotland into the afternoon, after a reasonably dry and bright start. rain at times too for northern ireland, heavy as well through the second half of the day, but the rain will ease off through northern parts of england and wales for a time, and to the south and east, a largely dry day, more cloud than saturday, but some sunny breaks, temperatures into the teens, maybe 16 or 17 along those eastern coasts. we continue that run of south—westerly winds into the evening and overnight. re
