hi yes, i'm a father of a lowell high school student and a middle school student. i just like to express my appreciation to the high school task force. i know some members who have already left the meeting. it's kind of unfortunate, but they spent a lot of their personal time and you know, in my communication with them, i learned that they did a lot of research and consideration in this presentation of diversity, of points of views and discussion. and i really think that they've made a reasonable academic, merit based compromise for admissions, which will increase access and availability for lowell's unique programs to a more diverse population of san francisco. so just like to express my thanks for the superintendent for working with the task force. i encourage the board to strongly consider the recommendations. hopefully you can can get this done, move on to address other pressing issues such as improving middle schools . and, you know, like we were hearing about shelters earlier, those are really things that we need to be spending our energy on. thank you. thank
