reverend middleton doctor 49 years of age. and reverend middleton doctor retired from the charleston county in 2005, where she was a director of the community development block grant program. the next individual is honorable reverend clement pinkn yirks 41 years of age. as many of you he served on the south carolina senate currently. >> the next individual is taiwan sanders 21 years of age. next is reverend daniel simmons senior 74 years of age. mr. simmons only individual who did not die at the church. but was rather transported to musd and later died while he was in operating room. the next individual is reverend sherada singleton and last name is mira thompson 59 years of age. obviously, you've been following the investigation i'm sure you're aware that the suspect has been arrested. and charged of course a judicial system will move through the normal processes from here forward. and in terms of the investigation, we will be continuing our investigations through many -- >> nine souls and we now have the names nine of them i

a cousin of the victim of depayne middleton. malcolm graham, the brother of victim cynthia hurd. today, would have been cynthia hurd's 55th birthday. tell me about your sister. >> cynthia was an angel. she was personable. she was sharp. she was candid. she loved her family, she loved her community, she loved being a librarian, she loved books and she loved words. she was not only a big sister to me, she was my best friend, she was our family's matriarch and she was the one we all turned to when we needed some help. >> tell me about your cousin. >> depayne middleton was a phenomenal human being. she loved her children with everything that she could love them with. she wanted them to have the world. she was the voice of reason for many of us, making sure that we stayed on the right track and she was an inspiration to all of us. >> what do you tell your cousin's kids? >> i am inspired by my cousin's children, the strength that they have demonstrated. the only thing that i can do right now is to tell them that i love them and as a family that we are there for them, that they're not a
