middletown coming in at 60 degrees. we have a cooler wind direction this morning. can see they're coming in from the west/northwest. if you're in sussex county, temperatures in the mid to upper 50s in some spots. del mar coming in 56 degrees, lewes, delaware, 62 degrees. i don't think you'll need the light jacket this morning but these are certainly more comfortable temperatures than yesterday morning. and we are looking at the lower humidity this morning, too. that's making it feel really comfortable. currently we're nice and dry. off to our west, though, this is an area of rain we're watching as we go through the afternoon. not just rain but we're also looking at thunderstorms. this will be here right around the middle of today. for most of the area around lunch time, not through the evening commute. before you head outside today, grab the umbrella especially if you'll be heading out for lunch. if we go through the morning hours, by about 9:00 a.m., temperatures rising but only to about the mid-to-low 60s. it will be breezy this morning, too. winds pick up a bit.
