joining me to talk about this request is criminal defense attorney midwin charles. here's the thing, he's almost 60 years old. it feels like it's been foreuv since he's been in there the standard he is not a danger to himself or others and that doctor, before the break, said if he's on meds, fine, if he lives next door to me. if he's not i don't want him next door to me. >> that standard is broad, isn't it? whether or not he poses a danger to himself or others. >> who's there to make sure he takes the meds. >> exactly. that's part of the question. now over time, each time he's sort of made this request for additional freedoms, a judge has granted it. all he's done is pretty much spend time with his parents. there's an argument that his attorneys can make that his parents will sort of be there to supervise and ensure he will take his medications. right now he has about 17 days per month that he's spending with his parents. >> and it's gone well. nobody has had any complaints. neighbors say everything has been quiet and fine. what about at victims here? granted presid
