miguel marques reporting for us.et's go to the cnn severe weather center and meteorologist jennifer gray. it looks awful, jennifer. you just saw miguel marques's report. give us an update of the latest forecast we are getting. >> it does and he's in one of the rain bands, not closest to the center where the stronger winds are. if you can believe it, people are experiencing stronger winds than he had. there are gusts of 85 miles per hour, it is only moving at three miles per hour at the 5:00 adviceor advisory. it slowed down even more, which is awful news for the people along the north carolina coast which is being battered by the flooding and the wind and the rain. this is going to continue this same trend of this on-shore flow, meaning all of the wind, the storm surge, the water pushing inland. that will continue, that flooding. luckily new bern has gotten out of the rain ban they've been in all day. if you were in certain parts of the city you are actually experiencing a little bit of relief but it is not over yet.
