we have miguel bustos who is here with us. >> the holiday time is when we get people who want to volunteer. it's after the holiday. bring it into january and february but this is the time when people come together to give thanks and also to give thanks for one another to be able to support each other through volunteers. >> you were telling me a little bit about the department that you run and why the volunteers kind of fall under your wing. can you explain that? >> yes. i'm actually the director for the center of social just 'tis and our volunteer department falls under there. that's important because our volunteers are not just folks that come in to do something. we believe that if you walk into this building to volunteer, you believe in justice. you believe in human dignity. you believe that people matter. and so, for us, you are a justice advocate and prophet by coming here to volunteer and help serve not only meals, but change. >> people horse are changing. >> most people have an idea homelessness and people unhoused. but we are seeing a lot of folks coming through our program that may
