>> it's important for a couple of reasons, mika.els if they can point to a win here it sets them up for success in the northeast. mark makes a good point that there's no guarantee that cruz will do well there, he's got to overperform in the northeast to show that he can be that candidate to move forward in the calendar and take those states. that said remember that wisconsin is an open primary, that's not typically somewhere where cruz would do well but he is polling by double digits ahead of donald trump here. it's a more moderate conservative. a campaign aid tells me the fact that they can bring together different demographics, different geographic areas is pivotal as they try to move forward. a couple other points. this is not important not only for ted cruz, could be one of his biggest wins in the last two wins but important for the stop donald trump movement as a whole. this is a place where they've put a lot of eggs in the basket, i'm told by a couple of strategists that they have ads that are being cut that are for rollout jo
