here to answer that, mike brooks. mike, really interesting the way this investigation goes. they not only look at the physical evidence, but they did a lot of interviews and that really revealed a lot. >> absolutely, vinnie. cnn. thought it was a double homicide, vinnie, is they said he was seated on the sofa, and she was at his feet. now, they came in, did an overall of this crime scene, took pictures. but when they rolled her over, there was a semiautomatic gun underneath her body. that's when they said, well, wait a minute, we need to take a closer look at this. there was one other thing. a friend of his who came over and discovered the bodies, it was about a 40-minute delay. there were rumors that the crime scene had been tampered with and tried to be cleaned up. they put that to rest today and said, no, it was not tampered with whatsoever. sometimes it's not unusual to have a delay in a response talked about finding some gunshot residue on her hands, none on mcnair. with the interviews, she told someone, apparently two separate times that the things were all messed up.
