mic in northwest, mike carter-conneen, abc7 news.ne suspect is in custody and a second is in the hospital after a police-involved shooting that happened late sunday night at the indus food international market in laurel. the investigators say a 20-year-old suspect and a 15-year-old boy were caught in the middle of a burglary after silent alarm notified police. the 15-year-old tried to run away from the scene but the officer used a stun gun on him and brought him to custody. another officer noticed move in the the darkness and became startled inside the store and in the process the officer's gun discharged, shooting the 20-year-old suspect. the officer now on paid administrative leave pending an investigation. michelle? michelle: we are checking top stories right now. the police are looking for a teen who fatality stabbed at teen at the deanwood metro station. witnesses say a young man in allb multiple time as they both exited the station. the stabbing comes two weeks after a 15-year-old was shot at the same station in northeast d.c.

jonathan: our team coverage begins with mike carter-conneen. he is live with the democracy spring protesters. this is their second day of demonstrating, right, mike? mike: 400 were arrested yesterday on the steps of the capitol building, another 85 protesters were arrested today according to the u.s. capitol police in another sit-in here. nearby, hundreds more protesters gathered in this grassy area where i'm standing where they had a permit to gather. several dozen more protesters organized a sit-in near the entrance of the capitol building, refusing to move despite repeated warnings that demonstrations there are not permitted. most arrested today were elderly people. there were no handcuffs or zip tie restraints. they were each escorted away peacefully and with mass arrest procedures and giving citations with crowding and obstructing. they are demanding legislation to restore and expand the voting rights act. they also oppose voter i.d. laws and they say they want to get money out of politics. >> it is our basic humanity to know that our voice
