there you have it, mike emanuel joins us now live at the white house. mike, they're going to have to get, you know, find new ways to say this and make this sound like we're in a good situation. what's the latest message from the white building behind you? >> reporter: well, martha, we heard president call it a bump on the road to recovery, that disappointing jobs numbers, mitt romney seized on that right away and says that's not a bump, -- we heard the president talking about head winds coming at our economy, instability in the middle east, high gas prices, tragedy in japan and the jobs numbers on friday overshadowed an event he was hoping would put some positive spin on economic news, he went to a chrysler facility in battleground, ohio to talk about what he had done help rescue the american auto industry but it was overshadowed by the disappointing jobs numbers, and as you heard, his key economic adviser austan tkpwa*ls bee saying they're trying not to get too high or low about one economic report but clearly a big disappointment for the white house. m
