mike hellgren has more on what the mother told police. mike? >> reporter: vic, she initiated this investigation. she reported everything to authorities last night. and the medical examiner's office spent the day conducting an autopsy. >> reporter: police say the fetus was wrapped in plastic and found in this dumpster. the mom, they say, brought texas here. it is inside an apartment complex in bel air, where neighbors were shaken. >> i was just very sad. i couldn't believe that someone could do that to a little baby. >> this has got to -- a little baby. since i have a little niece, 2 years old. and it kind of hurt me when i heard about that. >> reporter: investigators tell wjz the mother revealed she gave birth at a relative's house. she said the baby was stillborn. >> reporter: authorities took the mom to upper chesapeake medical center, where doctors eflts said -- evaluated her and police interviewed her yet again. >> strange things have been happening. so it wouldn't be the first. >> reporter: similar cases in maryland have drawn major attent

mike hellgren speaks with the victim's father. >> the victim's dad tells me he is relieved. and what is amazing is how surveillance video tracked almost every move the suspects made. we even learned it caught them going back into the mall after the killing. >> reporter: police say a network of hundreds of cameras at towson town center proved critical, leading to the arrests of four men, for the murder of a teenager here at the height of holiday shopping season. this is a childhood photo of the victim. 19-year-old rodney pridget. his dad, who did not want his face shown, spoke to wjz first about the arrest. >> good. he needs to go to jail. you can't murder people and get away with it. plus my only boy. i love him and i miss him. i see his face every night. >> they were looking for him. just so happened that pridget was there. >> reporter: police tell wjz that he was stalked in the mall. a man spotted him inside a store and called his friend frank williams, who detectives say drove there with two other men. william ward and tyrone brown. they used cell phones to stay in contac

in anne arundel county, mike hellgren, wjz eyewitness news. >> no one was at sudbrook's home when wjz stopped by for comment today. >>> an update on the breaking news wjz was first to tell you about tonight. right now, police are on the scene of a deadly crash in baltimore county. and mary is live in the newsroom with the investigation. >> reporter: three were involved. and three people were killed. you can see the extensive damage to the vehicles involved. according to investigators on the scene, one car crossed over the center lane, into oncoming traffic, striking another head- on. then swerving into a third vehicle. the drivers of the vehicles involved in the head-on collision were both pronounced dead at the scene. the driver of the third vehicle was not injured. speed appears to be a factor. denise? >> thank you, mary. the investigation in that crash continues right now. >> and another deadly accident leaves a family without three loved ones tonight. three brothers and a sister are killed in a horrific crash in harford county. weijia jiang just spoke with the victim's grandmother
