let's get to you work with mike inouye. >> good morning. welcome back. you're right, everybody on friday, but i'll let them get to work. we have an accident that cleared as i was preparing these maps. northbound 880 north of the interchange heading to 101. the accident cleared here. a couple spots for construction. that's it for the south bay. we have an issue on the peninsula. a sigalert, i'll fill folks in coming up. >> thank you. first a warning now a massive recall. a salmonella outbreak prompting the usda to recall 36 million pounds of ground turkey, that's the same as 41 fully loaded 747 jets. health inspectors saying the tainted meat came from a cargill plant in arkansas. this has been linked to the death of one person in sacramento, at least 76 illnesses around the country including one person in san francisco county. while inspectors have the source they say they don't have enough information to recall specific brands. keep in mind, experts say the meat is still safe to eat so long as you cook to the an internal temperature of 165 degrees. again

let's get you to work on time with mike inouye. >> this morning we start out with the same area that we had a lot of issues yesterday. not such a big problem, a light volume of traffic. 15 minutes westbound for your commute out of the altamont pass. we have an incident at the interchange, the dublin interchange, westbound 580, there is a busted axle in the lanes. the car attached to that, that's the problem. it's been there about 45 minutes. we expect to see that clearing shortly. that's not far from the dublin b.a.r.t. station. here is the video. you talked about problems yesterday. 7:30 problems with the operations center. the computer system using to monitor all of the trains for safety, there was a problem. until 10:00 we had major delays. things were moving smoothly and this morning things are on time, 20 trains on time so no delays reported right now. we seem to have everything fine on the system. >> good. mike, thank you. hopefully you're up early after a good night's sleep and not because you've been up all night checking your stock portfolios. invest terse anxious after stoc

let's check your drive with mike inouye. >> we do have slowing, typical spots. looking good. the top of the screen, it will be coming down westbound out of hercules into the 40s and 50s where you see that yellow. clearing up past golden gate field so. about 23 minutes off of the carquinez bridge. slowing heading away from the bridge through berkeley. watch for that. no incidents there. 680 slow south of the walnut creek interchange. that's the major part of that east bay commute around the maze. further south, in the east bay, southbound 880 starting to jam up south of 92. there is an accident in the northbound side around tennis son that might be visible and typically we see the volume bum up, 92 and 84 about this time as well. slowing toward willow on the southbound side of 101. an accident there, moving to the shoulder but causing a bit of distraction as that bump in traffic in the southbound side down in the south bay starts to kick in about now and the south bay shows slowing 101 past the airport and capitol expressway. >> thank you, mike. for the latest tr
