let's check in with our traffic reporter mike inouye and look at the roads right now. and looking further ahead, another closure to expect. >> that video was pretty steady, not bad. that person was not driving, by the way. it's a lot better now, a lot smoother than last week. that's the idea behind the repaving. don't worry, i have my eye on this crash on almaden near 85. but we're looking at 87. all weekend it was closed in the northbound direction, and it reopened about an hour ahead of schedule. we haven't heard about any problems, but let us know what you think about the paving work. they have to smooth out that paving onto the surface on the on-ramps and off-ramps, so plan for extra time. we talked about that closure on the southbound side. they have to repave that as well. that's slated for october 20th to the 23rd, that weekend. it will be the same reroute congestion as far as the roadways to go, adding 10 to 15 miles. we'll prepare you for that on the weekend of october 20th. we'll update you as we get close to that date. back to you. >> thanks, mike. >>> light
