jones us from new york. we also have paul richards of ubs here as well. mike, let's start with you. how concerned should we be about the rollover in the russell? >> i think it's one of the reasons we should have been concerned for a few weeks now. i think it's really just another symptom of what we're seeing in terms of risk appetites coming in. you know, the stuff that we came into the year kind of overvalued, which definitely included small caps, especially the medium-small cap was overvalued. similar to history. similar to the high-growth names we saw give up a lot of ground. it shows you, you're in more of a defensive and selective market. obviously, you know, the overall market has held up, which you can play that either positive or negative. but usually the longer this kind of divergence goes on, the worse it is for the headline indexes. usually, they can't buck this kind of a trend for very long. not relying on the utilities and staples. >> that's what i was going to ask you. if the momentum is rolling, russell is rolling, how can the dow stay at 16-5? >> yeah, i don't know.
