mike is now tracking a crash in oakland. >> kari, it's a crash, it's the tire that's blocking the slow lanes, perhaps related to one another he what we have with the big slowing. look at your maps, a nice, easy drive. a great drive right now just starting to show 101 with a little slowing into san jose. 880 showing much more slowing. i showed up to fifth. the slow lane reports a big tire in lanes and a crash involving a truck and a there over on the shoulder. no major injuries but this is the worst backup. so 580 is a good option for you and maybe the san mateo bridge with a backup. the bridge is showing a lot more traffic westbound as folks avoiding the bay bridge. waze will show you why that might be a good option for you as you go from oakland into san francisco that is a route and now it takes about 20 minutes longer but it is a smoother drive than 580. both routes avoid the jam right there through oakland. now you want to make sure you check your route as well. whether you're leaving now or later or perhaps throughout the weekend as well. >> check your phone and check your screen. back to you. >> thank you, mike. >> i
