i'm claudine wong. >> and i'm mike mibach. we have been talking with police this morning getting more details about what happened at the pacific east mall in richmond. that is where a guard was shot overnight. allie rasmus is live this morning in richmond with new information. >> reporter: that security guard as you mentioned is the victim of this shooting. he's recovering in the hospital and is expected to be okay. in fact, he's already talked to richmond police investigators about what happened early this morning. police responded to a call about shots being fired at the pacific east mall. on pierce street in richmond. and this security guard works for a bar that is located inside the mall. he told police it was just after 1:00 around closing time when the suspect and a group of people tried to get into the bar. the guard told them to leave because they were closing and that is when witnesses say the suspect got upset with the guard and shot him. the security guard is in stable condition. in the meantime richmond police tell
