we're trading all of today's market action with pete and john, mike murphy. first, let's go right for some breaking news regarding the nasdaq and facebook. >> the sec is bringing a $10 million fine against nasdaq. this is the largest fine ever against an exchange. it comes in addition to the $62 million that nasdaq is already paying to cover losses of investors during that ipo. losses were about $500 million during that ipo. of course there's limited liability for these exchanges. a lot of people think even the $10 million fine, even the largest ever, is still pretty small, but it is the end of the road for the sec's investigation of nasdaq. they found that even though nasdaq executives convened a code blue conference call, they decided not to delay the opening of facebook shares. and that they failed to execute several orders for nzinga shares that they assumeled a short position that they ended up profiting on. those were among some of the errors that were -- that occurred during nasdaq's execution of the facebook ipo. the sec ordered several more errors bu
