and i've loved the fact that today, whether it was mike murphy or ed goeas or mike tomlin talking about latino voters here on this stage, that i found myself in agreement with all of the things not all the things, just the things that my republican friends and colleagues have said. ed said something that struck me, and maybe because i'm a democrat, i've got a different perspective. he talked about the unintended consequences of campaign finance reform in the nineties and that leading to many of the problems we have today. i guess my perspective on that issue and i feel very strongly about it and i'm proud to have worked for bernie in 2016 because we tried to make that a centerpiece of the campaign. i don't think it was the unintended consequence of what the legislature in the united states congress did with campaign finance reform in the nineties that is destroying our politics today. it is the intended consequences of what the united states supreme court did, not only in the citizen united decision, but in a number of other decision to create a corrupt system of campaign finance, which
