. >> yeah, mikea turner with a look at how firefighters are responding in this single digits degree weather. >> reporter: good morning, mikeas a scary morning for a family of four here in the 16000 block of island court. there was a family in this home here. they aren't on the scene now but early this morning about 1:00 a.m., they woke up to smoke. when firefighters arrived, there was thick smoke spewing out of the roof and fire mixed they did have working smoke alarms. about 60 to 70 firefighters arrived on the scene. of course, with these very cold temperatures, it's always challenging when they are putting the fire out, the water turns to ice. but there was enough manpower to not the challenges if the cold affect the operation here. and right now, you are looking at fire investigators inside and the home and they are trying to figure out how this fire happened this morning. but the good news, there were no injuries. both with the firefighters and on the family's part from the blaze that broke out this morning. for now, we will continue to the keep an eye on what's happening and bring you more details as they develop fro
