mike wells spoke with francine lacqua on business and brings it.ou have 60% of the groups earnings that are spread based, meaning investing in bonds again teens to clients. there are some accounting noise without question, but as far as. economic value, we are well positioned. francine: in china, you grew double digits. is this the trend? as long as nothing happens with the macroeconomy, it will continue getting higher. mike: it's a key part of our strategy. you have two material elements. yet clients buying insurance for the first time. two thirds of our clients are the first time they had bought a product. it is a key social need. you are giving them protection from health concerns, from savings for children's education, from retirement. similar things that you have seen in the west. in those markets, their competition is delivery. it is getting to first time consumers. detached from financial markets to a great degree. in the more sophisticated markets in the north, you're competing with more sophisticated clients with more assets. you are seein
