. >> police arrested a suspect last night in milpitas, and they have also learned that both the victim and the suspect work at tesla, and that they had argued on the job just hours before the deadly shooting. police arrested 29-year-old anthony salima last night in milpitas after developing a lead and obtaining arrest and search warrants. they also say they found this loaded assault rifle in his car. investigators say it has no serial number, making it nearly impossible to track. and they're trying to determine if it's the murder weapon. salima is accused of shooting and killing an unidentified tesla employee yesterday afternoon. the victim had just finished his shift at tesla and was shot at least once in the parking lot around 3:30 in the afternoon. detectives learned the suspect and victim had argued at work earlier in the day, and that the suspect had walked off the job. the victim's name has still not been released. police tell us they interviewed the suspect at the police department before booking him into the santa rita jail. i reached out to tesla for comment but have not recei

officers arrested him in milpitas the victim has not yet been identified. major budget cuts are coming to the san francisco unified school district. the school board has voted 61 in favor of the changes. now the district is facing a 125 million dollar budget shortfall for the next school year. if they do not resolve this or fall. the state will step in to take over the board, voted to slash the budget by about 90 million dollars which includes cutting 50 million dollars in funding for individual schools. 10 million would be cut from student services programs. administration in operation services will be cut by 20 million dollars and nearly 400 jobs will be slashed. the superintendent has released a statement about the cuts that reads in part, quote, we're committed to continuing the work with the board of education family students and staff to develop a sustainable budget that prioritizes the most effective ways to increase and improve services for our students if revenue projections improve the highest consideration for funny will be given to the school si

deadly shooting outside of the tesla plant, homicide detectives say 29 year old anthony salima of milpitaswas taken into custody late last night. salima reportedly worked with the victim at the tesla facility. police say the initial investigation shows that two men were arguing earlier in the day , and then salima suddenly walked off the job. the victim had just gotten off his shift when he was fatally shot in the parking lot. police say when salima was arrested, they found a loaded gun in his car. he has been booked into the santa rita jail now to the latest on the coronavirus pandemic, and the los angeles unified school district has decided to delay its vaccine mandate for students. the enforcement was set to start on january 10th, but it's now set to begin at the start of the next school year. any unvaccinated students will be forced into remote learning more than 30,000. students will need to get the shots. at least one board member says tonight's decision does not mean the district is backing down from the mandate and contra costa county officials say 12 of the 13 businesses that were
