two people killed in a hit and run, a third killed in the milpitas stabbing. as we're learning more, we're also learning about some of the victims. two of those killed were a husband and a wife in san jose. they were standing right outside their home. this happened on 16th and santa clara street when the suspect drove into them. investigative reporter candice nguyen spoke with their son this afternoon. the son just lost both his parents. what a tough time for him. >> i mean, it was just a heartbreaking interview. he is their only son. lost his parents in this single, unprovoked act of violence, according to police. today, still in shock, almost exhausted when i spoke with him. he tells me his parents were foow and nguyen pham in their 70s, hit outside their own home, right next to their home. what they were doing, he tells me they were working on their house, painting the exterior. they stepped out the door to see the paint job being done. that's when the suspect intentionally ran them down, their son says. i obtained surveillance video of what happened from a
