for more on this, let's get back over to abc7 news reporter julian glover live for us at mineta san jose international airport. julian? >> good morning. it might be quite the surprise for many travelers arriving here at minute net is a san jomineta jose airport, that if they traveled more than 150 miles away from the border they will have to quarantine for 14 days. i'm willing to bet that's anyone who is arriving here at mineta san jose international this morning. that mandatory quarantine for people traveling into the county went into effect first thing this morning as average weekly covid cases hit new levels this weekend. it covers residents and nonresidents of the county requiring people to self-quarantine at home for 14 days before returning to normal activity. the only exceptions are shooe essential workers, people passing through the county, not staying overnight and a patient getting treatment at one of the area hospitals here. there is no testing requirement and no specification on how getting a negative test could get you out of quarantine early. travel numbers provided by tsa
