alex myer from the minnesota twins joins me now. good morning. how are you? >> i'm doing well.u are got to be making 60 bucks a day or something like that? what made you decide to do this? >> i went to college and initially i wanted to be a teacher coming out of there, hoping i'd have the opportunity to continue my baseball career. but you need to have a back up plan and everything with that. so i went to college for three years and then like i said, signed and my first offseason at home, i was used to having me time filled going to classes and then having practice and staying pretty busy. when i was home in the offseason, you're pretty much on your own with your workouts and everything in that nature. so my mom threw out the idea, she works at the superintendent's office in my hometown, she said if you want to pursue being a teacher some day, maybe you should look into substitute teaching during the offseason. that's how i got started with it. >> a lot of professional athletes in the offseason catch up on things like movies and "breaking bad" and mom's home cooking. what kind
