i think also publicly miriam bowser said she doesn't want to be bullied. she doesn't think congress should be bullying her. i think the issue is going to be folks trying to figure out in d.c. exactly what they can do. and this involves the police who will be handling cards sort of informing them of what they can do and shouldn't do in terms of the law. >> it's going take some getting used to. the law says you can only use it in the privacy of your home. there apparently is still confusion about it because legally it's not the law on federal land. >> that's right. it's going to be -- people think the system could be chaotic for a while, certainly confusing as people get used to what they can and can't do. essentially they really can do what they kind of could do before before this law passed the city as i understand it. it's restricted highly restricted. you can't do this on federal property. so the big breakthrough hasn't come that the proponents wish. but they've gained a food hold. we'll have to see how it plays out. >> how do you think the mayor looked?

miriam: i'm with the data quality campaign and we have talked a lot about crime and stuff like that. am focusing on education. what kind of measures did you take to address high school graduation rates post secondary success, and just seen which high schools had the best outcomes. did you have any success and raising graduation rates in maryland as her time as governor? martin o'malley: yes, we did. we had success in raising graduation rates in maryland. we also had tremendous success in getting more of our students to take stem-related ap exams and to pass them. in fact, i think a greater percentage of students in maryland passed more than any other ap exams in any parts of the country. a lot of this rendition can be found on the great online blog. it is called letters to the people of maryland. you can find it on tumbler and there is a whole section in there that has the strategies that we pursued on education and the metrics that we looked at to drive up graduation rates, ap success, and on the post secondary piece of things, we increased, i think by 37%, the number of associate d
