three cell phones missing. police are investigating whether or not the mom made a phone call on one of the cell phones at 2:30 in the morning. that could be a very critical piece of evidence. right now the parents are doing a lot more talking than police. police say the parents are no longer cooperating. they won't say much beyond that, but the parents are now saying, as you said, point-blank, the cops have accused them of being involved in this. debbie bradley the mother says at one point the police actually sat her down, help put a picture of lisa on the table and they said, look at your baby. do the right thing and tell us what happened to her. what did you do to her? and that the mother said was just part of it. she says they told her she failed a lie detector test miserably and she was sweating and then did not want to give her husband a lie detector test because his story checked out 100%. when the husband found out the wife failed he also wanted to stop talking to the police. here is the mom on the today

, you know, the missing person, the missing childs in this case, you know if they would be willing totep up to the plate and to take a lie detector test. i'm not a lie detective expert, unfortunately, but what i can tell you is, you know, a lot of times you cannot use this in a court of law. and it's sort of an investigative tactic to be able to see sort of where the person they're questioning is failing and/or excelling. so in this particular case, captain young was like, look, i can't comment on the lie detector. mom has obviously come out to say she was told that she did not pass, and so i think, you know, at this particular point, there are -- there is, of course, a lot of emotion going into this. anytime a child goes missing, anytime there's a case like this, you know, parents, of course, are going to go through an array of emotions. at this particular point our focus needs to be on just finding this child, helping the parents figure out where she is. if you have any information, pick up the phone and call. investigators are looking at new leads and going out to be able to find t

there are late developments tonight in a case of a missing baby in missouri. three days into the search to find the baby girl, a disagreement has apparently broken out between her family and police. earlier tonight, detectives said the baby's parents had suddenly quit cooperating with the investigation. but then the child's aunt called a news conference to say, quote, we have never stopped cooperating. either way, the baby girl has yet to be found. dan harris has the latest. >> reporter: her nickname is pumpkin pie. 10-month-old lisa irwin. her pictures, impossibly cute. and for the past three days, her parents have been the picture of agony. telling the world that their baby was snatched from her crib in the middle of the night, all the while, clutching her barney doll and her photographs. throughout this ordeal, jeremy irwin and deborah bradley have been cooperating fully with the kansas city police department, sitting for hours of interviews. but tonight, police have announced that that is over. >> they've been cooperative up to this point but this evening
