our coverage continues now with nbc 10's mitch blocker who's live at city hall. mitch? >> reporter: jim, the fbi had been inside heenan's fourth floor office since about 6:00 this morning. i want to show you some video from a couple of hours ago. this is from about 1:30 this afternoon when the fbi was exiting heenan's office, taking out boxes of evidence as well as some computers. it's still not clear how this raid is connected to others in the city today. but we do know, as you said, the councilman is an electrician and was part of the ibew political family. he was the political director before he was elected back in 2012. there is still no word from heen an or his staff today. mayor kenny did make a brief statement to the media today. >> the fbi went out to get information and i'm sure they'll come up with some conclusion one way or the other. i don't have any information on what they're looking for. >> reporter: the kenny administration said no one from the mayor's office has been contacted by the fbi about this investigation. at least for now. it appears the fbi is

nbc 10's mitch blocker is there live. mitch, where have the fbi been focusing their attention? >> reporter: tracy, they've been up on the fourth floor at city hall, in councilman bobby henon's office. there is an officer outside of that office at this point. we've seen them change guard, if you will, officers in and out and as you look down, you can see that they are loading up some boxes, not quite certain what exactly that is. there is some video from upstairs on the fourth floor, outside of councilman he don's sixth district office. we also do know at this point that the fbi has been at his torresdale avenue office. that is his district office. it is not clear how this raid is connected to the others going on around the city at this point. we do know that henon is an electrician by trade. he was the iebw political director until he was elected to the city council back in 2011. henon and his staff, at this point, have not responded to e-mails, as well as phone calls. in fact, when you do call his communications staff, the phone just continues to ring. we did ask some question

nbc 10's mitch blacher is following the story. >> mitch, i know you spoke with the mayor. what did he have to say. >> reporter: guys, the mayor was pretty blunt. at this point it's been nine months since the tires were slashed, yet charges were only filed yesterday. at this point the philadelphia d.a., he has not addressed any of the situation or questions as to how this case was handled. know answers as to whether or not his personal relationship may have affected his professional judgment. d.a. seth williams described stacy cummings at his girlfriend in his political financial disclosures. the delaware county d.a. describes her as the person who slashed his city-owned car tires in november. the spokesperson says the case was moved to delaware county to avoid a possible conflict of interest. cummings has been charged with two misdemeanors. >> it raises a whole other set of questions to be answered. >> reporter: government watchdogs at the committee of 70 find it troubling how long it took for the case to leave philly. >> another seeming example of the mixing of the person
