i think john boehner and mitch mcconnell did want to get immigration legislation through now. if nothing else, just for the very practical reason of taking it off the table ormigration for a second. the president's made it pretty clear he won't sign into law any bill that doesn't have a pathway to citizenship for the 11 million undocumented workers who are in the country. is there a bill the house republicans could agree on that has some sort of a pathway to citizenship for those 12 million or so illegal immigrants? >> i think it's possible. if we have real negotiations on it, i myself, i would consider myself hard lined on immigration. but if we can get real border security and if we can go after the employers would who are hiring illegals, i think we should be able to legalize those who are here now. i don't like the idea of people having been living here in a sort of quasi citizenship status. i think ultimately there should be a pathway to citizenship for them. with good intentions. mitch mcconnell and john boehner. both know how to negotiate and how to make deals. i think in january, going forward, we would have the opportunity to do it. i don't know if
