japan's mitsubishi makes what has to be a tempting offer to boeing.the heavy industries company says it could build the wing's for boeing's next jetliner, the 777-x, in japan. mitsubishi promises boeing considerable cost savings. the offer comes as 31-thousand union members are voting today on a boeing labor contract. the vote will determine if the 777x will be built in washington state. dominic gates, aerospace reporter at the seattle times, has also spoken with mitsubishi.
