right now we have a nice wave of moisture moving through, bringing some rainfall out there. they're still that area of low pressure anchored off the coastline. so we're far from done with the system. more showers expected the forecast for tomorrow and also the one last round of rain. i think especially friday into saturday. that may be the most significant van moves on shore with more instability. there comes as it rolls on shore. maybe some thunderstorms popping up around the bay area with that system as well. and then saturday, just some lingering showers by sunday. looks like we dry things out. but next few days, here's what we can expect that we're looking at chance of some more scattered showers. i think again, by tomorrow afternoon, another round of rain, the possibility of thunderstorms developing. i think in the afternoon on friday around the bay area. so if you've got some travel plans be prepared, you're likely to run into some rain late the day on friday with some thunderstorms continuing into saturday morning, tapering off and drying out as we head in towards sun

that moisture streaming northward will feed into a lot of that moisture going into the pacific northwestand over the next six days, it is eye popping amounts there for portland, seattle and crescent city. look at the fine line, though. you get down to ukiah, it goes off to a third of an inch. santa rosa, 18 over the next six days for the sierra. there will be some quick moving systems that could produce maybe 1 to 3in of snow between now and, say, end of the weekend or maybe even again early next week. it does look like our best opportunity for us to get some rain widespread, not just to the north, looks to be around december 7th, but until then, a lot of clouds into the weekend, december 1st through the fifth. and the no doubt about it, pacific northwest will be getting in a lot of rain. sun and clouds breezy in the hills. a little cooler, partly sunny, mostly cloudy. some rain well northward. again, temperatures 60 probably not changing a heck of a lot here going forward, even as we go into the weekend there gasia. and dave, thank you, steve. >> coming up, what's being called an ai exp
