mola lenghi has more. >> reporter: protestors poured on to the streets of hamden, connecticut, sundaye sixth straight day of passionate but peaceful demonstrations since an ceficer-involved shooting in the neighboring town of new haven last tuesday. this surveillance video, given to our cbs affiliate wfsb, appears to show the moment police engaged with a car they say fit the description of one linked to a reported armed robbery. hamden police officer devin eaton jumped out of his s.u.v., gun drawn, firing multiple rounds into the car. 22-year-old stephanie washington and her boyfriend, 21-year-old paul witherspoon, were inside, both unarmed. washington was shot in the face, a non-life-threatening wound. doe video does not show what lead to the shooting but authorities say the responding officers eaton and yale university police officer terrance pollock, began firing when witherspoon abruptly got out of the vehicle. both officers have been placed on administrative leave while the incident is under investigation. some protestors insist this is another example of african americans being
