chopper 4 captured the aftermath on tape and news 4's molette green joins us live with the latest from the scene. >> reporter: barbara good morning. yes, crime scene tape all gone now. this gas station is back open for business. no sign as you said of the suspect. now, police were able to watch the surveillance video inside the gas station which captures the robbery go down but the suspect had his face covered. all of this happening during a shift change this morning just after 6:30 here at colesville road and university boulevard. it became dramatic scene with the victim stuffing a head injury after getting hit on the head with the gun. the suspect's gun. and the victim then made his way across the street where he was eventually able to get some medical attention. now, montgomery county police tell us how all of this started. >> male clerk stated to officers that during a transition when he was getting off and another clerk was showing up for work male suspect announced a robbery, he had a black what appeared to be a semiautomatic handgun. >> reporter: the suspect then took off on foo
