mollie hemingway, senior editor at the federalist. and chris stirewalt's politics editor here at fox news. molly, your take on all of it? >> it's been a crazy day at a lot of people here in d.c. are absolutely freaking out about president trump declining to have a strong condemnation of russia. they are saying this is treasonous, that he's a traitor. strong condemnation of russia for their election meddling saying he's a traitor, he needs to be removed from office. i think a lot of people who support him say i don't see with a big deal is, there's not much you can do in this kind of environment, but it seems like donald trump of all people should have been able to split this baby and you can point out that our intelligence agencies have come to this conclusion and it's not just bob mueller. that indictment reads a lot like the report that came out of the house permanent inspect committee on intelligence led by devin nunes. it's also dan coats. this is a very broad, bipartisan issue, so you can stand behind that and also make the point

let's bring in our panel, byron york, mollie hemingway, and low lec executive director of the georgetown of politics. so what do you think, whether shadow banning going on on twitter? >> i don't think there's any doubt that these big tech companies lean left, and i think there was a pretty good case that there was some shadow banning going on against matt mcdaniel and devin nunes and matt gates, as you just saw. this was part of twitter's plan to encourage a healthy conversation. the problem is twitter gets to decide what's healthy. i don't think it's really a surprise, kind of a continuation of what we see an infringement of speech on college campuses. they go work for twitter and this is continue to come up so i think it was probably a good idea for the president to point this out and give it prominence. >> he was wrong when he said it was illegal. i don't know if we have any law that cites it's actually illegal, but it's twitter and other social media companies that are restricting speech. if you care about the culture of speech, you have to have a free flow of ideas and i think conse

and mollie hemingway from the federalist.mber but there seems to be a difference of opinion among experts about whether on the one hand this is sustainable or whether it is something of a blip or an aberration because there was a surge of exports, people trying to get in under the wire from the president's tariffs taking effect. where do you come down on this? >> well, no one can argue that it is not a remarkable number. and then you cut taxes, you reduce regulations, and this is what happens when you release the animal spirits of the u.s. economy. it happened under jfk and reagan and george w. bush and it's happening again. so there is no surprise there. i don't know if the 4 point percent growth is sustainable. probably not. but i could see 3% being sustainable for a period of time based on what we have seen so far. and also, what's impressive here is not only the pace of growth, chris it's how broad these effects are being felt against different demographic groups, women, blacks, hispanics, people who have left the workfor
