well, not american molly seidel. this was only her third marathon and she won the bronze medal.nal champion cross country runner back in college but she never ran marathons. in 2016, after an injury and suffering from ocd, her running career looked to be over. seidel was working as a babysitter and in a coffee shop, in 2020. but the 27-year-old never gave up. she only qualified for the olympic-qualifying marathon due to her half-marathon time. she finished second in that race beating many other seasoned marathon runners to punch her ticket to tokyo. you see her family there back in wisconsin just going crazy. she is the first american to win a medal in this event, since 2004. you see her just overcome with emotion there, kim. to win this race and just incredible that she did it in just her third marathon, ever. you think about it. just the amount of marathons and hours so many other athletes put in and she won in her third. congrats to her. what an incredible feat. >> unbelievable story. andy scholes, thanks so much f. appreciate it. i am kim brunhuber, i will be back, in just a
