i am here to speak in favor of sf moma's request for the termination of compliance. they are bringing unique insight and expertise to this project, to strengthen and enrich the life of the city. i have a followed their work and admire it. i have noticed a remarkable skill in making community space and integrating cultural institutions into the life of the community in ways that brought in the more rich and diverse set of patrons, if you will. people that use those institutions. [unintelligible] imagine and project the way people will use public space. as i understand, they did so by making community weddings, sometimes indoors and sometimes outdoors. i think it is a combination of the two that worked at the scale of the city but welcome to the individual. that is what i think they are doing here, they are doing it in a way that is keeping with the character of the site. whereas in oslo, the site might be a harborside site. as you know, san francisco has many charming alleys. theilr project is building on the familiar but the first character of the city. in the develo
