what you have before you hear is the aerial site located in mission in relationship to the moma, thent regis hotel. this is a site plan, mission street on the top. we have 667 that is a four-story building, and 656 is a six-story building. along the street, we have the moma loading dock, we have the bus drop-off area, and there is a parking garage entrance, as well as the saint regis resident drop-off and the saint regis garage, there is a lot of parking and traffic congestion on the street. here is the view showing the moma loading dock on the right and the building on the left, and the image to the left is showing the sheet -- saint regis parking entrance. this is an image of the mission street faÇades. we are going to be stripping off the existing nonhistoric building elements and bringing back the look. and obviously the building on the right is the brick building and the six-story building is a concrete building.

scientist martin guillen's came out with a study of the relation between public attitudes and would moma see what he shows is that about seventy percent of the population has no way of influencing. they might as well be in some other country. and the population knows. what it's led to is a population that angry frustrated and hates institutions. and it's not acting constructively to try to respond to this. there is popular mobilization and activism but in very self destructive directions. taking the form of unfocused anger attacks on one another and on vulnerable targets that's what happens in cases like this. it is corrosive of social relations but that's the point the point is to make people hate and fear each other and look at only for themselves and don't do anything for anyone else. one place you see it strikingly is on april fifteenth. april fifteenth is a kind of a measure the day of prayer taxes of how democratic a society is a different city if a society is really democratic april fifteenth would be a day of celebration it's a day when the population gets together decides to fun

i got to hear from steve and the rest of the planners at the sf moma meeting and while there's exciting things happen and a user of transit in the corridor, i think we're having a short-sighted approach. i wanted to highlight a few things. first, i'm someone featured in the slide deck that lives there and a do not drive. many people in that area have that kind of a lifestyle. i see this set of changes going to cause problems to me as a pedestrian and cyclist. cars are already using the transit lane and we have a problem of cars going across the intersection and getting backed up. there's a hard limit to the cars on the freeway and we're not solving that by an extra lane of transit. i think we'll run into problems with induced demand. we're creating an extra lane and saying just because you're moving in this direction and we have cars, we're going to create an incentive for cars to use this and i think that's the wrong direct for thirty street and soma for the sake of pedestrians and alternative transit. i'm someone who will ride in the red lane but i've been forced out and back into it

that's going do end up being probably a big battle with capitol hill, with the law momas who want to see the full report. however, i think as pam points out, there is an effort that began even over the weekend and today, there are lawyers working there on trying to find parts of this report that they can release to members of congress. perhaps they will do pieces of it that they can, but as pam points out, it's a little complicated because some of this is grand jury information which is illegal for anyone to release unless a judge allows it. and then there's also possibly some classified information, other information from foreign countries that is part of this, as you remember, mueller said that he had a number of countries that provided information. so i think it is a complicated issue, and they're working as quickly as possible and i think they're making no promises as to how fast it will go. >> bottom line, could take a while before we see more of that report. hopefully we'll see it all one of these days. >> yep. >> thanks, guys, very much, evan and pamela. joining us now, republ
